HENRO was photographed in 2024 on the Japanese island of Shikoku. Together with his brother, Bastiaan Woudt completed the Shikoku Henro by bicycle, an ancient pilgrimage route of over 1,200 kilometers connecting 88 temples. The journey formed the foundation for a series of images reflecting on rhythm, stillness, repetition and devotion.
