Sotheby’s Auction has offered my work in their auction. Very proud to say “Tinotenda III” 90x120 was sold for £17.640. I want to thank the new owner for this amazing acquisition.

What a great time in Miami, I saw and spoke with many beautiful new and interesting artists, photographers and performers. Also for my other company 1605 Publishers I met a lot of wonderful new people and it was very nice to have my work represented by Jackson Fine art.

Solo Show, Rhythm | Bildhalle Amsterdam
Bildhalle is still presenting my solo show ‘Rhythm’. due to the enormous success and demand, the show has been extended to the end of February
As the rhythm of everyday life was stripped away during the pandemic, I was determined to find it back creatively and visually. This has resulted in a series of 30 works, which were photographed in 2020 and 2021. The majority of the works from ‘Rhythm' have never been seen before!
‘Rhythm’ the exhibition is part of a bigger celebration, as earlier this month I launched a namesake book. ‘Rhythm’ the book is an assemblage of commissioned work and work from my private archive from the past decade. The book is a self-reflective document showcasing my creative evolution encapsulated within 504 pages.

SOLD “Disk” in Phillips Auction
For the third time Phillips auction offered my work in their Ultimate auction. Very proud to say “Disk” was sold for a record breaking £60.480 yesterday. Im completely overwhelmed by this result and want to thank the new owner for this amazing acquisition.

Thankfully this year Photo London was able to open again and I was delighted to see all my colleagues again and having chats with people who are interested in my work. It was such a joy after 1,5 years to visit an art fair again, lets hope we can continue seeing each other at all the upcoming fairs!

My workflow: Episode 1 THE SHOOT →
In this mini series I want to bring you along in my workflow, from making an image to printing, framing and exhibiting the end result. In this first episode we are taking a look behind the scenes during a shoot in my studio. Together with my muse Tinotenda Mushore and the help of my wonderful team (Charlotte van Beusekom and Nathalie Alting Siberg) I will show you some of the important steps in my creative process. The beautiful footage, shot by Jelmar van Belle, will leave you with a good understanding of what its like to be part of one of my shoot.
