Partnership with Feadship

 

I am excited to reveal my collaboration with Feadship, a global leader in the creation of bespoke super yachts. This partnership is truly one-of-a-kind. Our first project together includes 11 photographs of the renowned Feadship W. Some of these images will also be displayed at the Dubai International Boat Show from March 1-5, 2023.

Photo walks, exhibitions and awards ceremonies: the Berlin Photo Week is all about the art of photography and main goal to combine contemporary and traditional photography. They present iconic photography from 75 years of MAGNUM Photos, new talents and award-winning photographers from different disciplines and integrate Berlin's vibrant art scene with many galleries, artists and creative corners.

I will be in Berlin with a book signing on the 2nd of September from 17:00 till 18:00 with my latest book “Rhythm” and my Book “Peak” and be in good compagny with some of the biggest names from Magnum - Please come by and lets meet!

Museum Catalog "Twist" - Order Now

The exhibition Twist in Museum Kranenburgh (16 April – 18 September 2022), in Bergen, is my first solo museum exhibition. Together with guest curator Eliane Odding, i’ve put together a careful selection of my studio and travel photos, a concise representation of his work from recent years.

Big News! Bildhalle as my Dutch gallery

I am proud to announce Bildhalle as my Dutch gallery and the opening of the solo exhibition "Rhythm" starting the 2nd of October at their new location: Willemsparkweg, Amsterdam

Since October 2019 Bildhalle has been representing me within the Swiss market. And with such success that we both believe that extending our collaboration to the Dutch market feels like an organic next step.

Coinciding with the grand opening of their second gallery space in Amsterdam on the 2nd of October, Bildhalle is proud to present: ‘Rhythm’, my new show! As the rhythm of everyday life was stripped away during the pandemic, I was determined to find it back creatively and visually. This has resulted in a series of 30 works, which were photographed in 2020 and 2021. The majority of the works from ‘Rhythm' have never been seen before!

‘Rhythm’ the exhibition is part of a bigger celebration, as earlier this month I launched a namesake book. ‘Rhythm’ the book is an assemblage of commissioned work and work from my private archive from the past decade. The book is a self-reflective document showcasing my creative evolution encapsulated within 504 pages.

About Bildhalle

Bildhalle was founded in 2013 by Mirjam and Andreas Cavegn and has become one of the most respected galleries for photography in Switzerland, acting within the long-standing Swiss tradition of photography and its distribution as an artistic medium. Bildhalle represents outstanding positions in the twentieth century and contemporary photography.

In 2020, Bildhalle opened a gallery space in Amsterdam. And now a year later, the gallery seals this bold leap with a second location in the Dutch capital, hence consolidating its strong relationships in the Dutch and European markets. Thula at Christie’s Auction

What an honor that another work "Thula" will be auctioned, this time at Christie’s. Last time, October 2019, a work "Thula" in XL format AP1 was auctioned at Phillips in London for a record amount of £35,000. Now another “Thula” will be auctioned this Tuesday, June 29, this time 3/10 in size 90x120.

It is an honor to be auctioned alongside the greatest photographers in the world, and am immensely proud of this. Also a big thank you to Christie’s for making this work the cover of the auction catalog.

YouTube | Project PEAK - Trekking through Nepal for a month

Really excited to show you one of the biggest adventures of my career so far. October 2019 I went on this crazy adventure together with my brother to shoot a project in Nepal. For 26 days we hiked through the mountains around Mount Annapurna. What is considered one of the most busy trails of Nepal was something different for us. We took the unbeaten path, away from all tourists and other adventurers. We took the path known to the guides as "the Annapurna hardway". Many days without meeting anyone, except sometimes some local mountain people. It resulted in a project, a book and a show. Voiceover is my own, with text from the preface I wrote for this book.
